Ursus entrusts global PR and Media activities to Vitesse
As it enters World Tour alongside Team Picnic PostNL, the Italian high-end cycling wheel and component manufacturer partners with Vitesse to strengthen its international media and market impact
2025 marks a new chapter for Ursus, the long-tenured Italian cycling wheel and component manufacturer. From January 1st, the Rosà (Vicenza) company brings its premium wheels to the World Tour stage through a new partnership with Team Picnic PostNL - Ursus's historical first collaboration with a team belonging in the top category of World road cycling.
Specializing in mechanical manufacturing for over 50 years, Ursus's initial cycling focus centered on quick releases, hubs, and bike stands - becoming global market leader in the latter field in the process. As the second generation entered the company in the early 2000s, the bull-branded manufacturer leveraged its hub expertise to produce high-end carbon wheels, now serving all road, MTB, and gravel sectors.
This evolution connects to Ursus's other early 2025 development: selecting a new international PR and press office partner. Vitesse, among cycling's most established agencies, brings nearly 34 years' experience in the business, and an extensive industry portfolio spanning all cycling segments.
Founded in 1991, Vitesse specializes in PR, communications, and events across sports, outdoor, and tourism sectors. Already successfully partnering with industry leaders such as Bianchi and Northwave, Vitesse will handle Ursus's global media communications.
Ursus's ethos shines through its new Rosà headquarters, built alongside the historic facility and inaugurated in 2015. The space embodies Ursus's characteristic attention to detail, and its pillars for the present and future developments: innovation and sustainability - evidenced by numerous certifications - plus human resource development and well-being.
